IVF INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT's SQintegra calculates heat-transfer coefficients and predicts hardness and microstructure in a cross-section of steel samples. It contains two modules: the SQi Inverse, used to calculate heat transfer coefficients; and the SQi Property Prediction, used to hardenability calculations. The software allows for "virtual testing" of quenchants, studying several influences on hardness, such as different temperatures, agitation rates, and concentrations of quenchant. www.ivfsmartquench.com
