A new generation of liquid and solid measurement products from Krohne has been released to increase better measurement performance, enhance software, and more powerful signal processors. There are 24 GHz and 80 GHz versions, which further increase accuracy and measurement performance on the devices. 

The liquid level measurement devices are all meant to replace the OPTIWAVE 7300, while the solid level measurement devices are all meant to replace the OPTIWAVE 6300.

Liquid level measurement devices include:

• OPTIWAVE 5400 (24 GHz) – basic process
• OPTWAVE 7400 (24 GHz) – agitated and corrosive liquids
• OPTIWAVE 7500 (80 GHz) – liquids in narrow tanks with internal obstructions
• OPTIWAVE 3500 (80 GHz) – liquids with hygienic requirements

These all replace the OPTIWAVE 7300

Solid level measurement devices include:

• OPTIWAVE 6400 (24 GHz) – solids ranging from granulates to rocks
• OPTIWAVE 6500 (80 GHz) – powders and dusty atmospheres

These all replace the OPTIWAVE 6300
