India's Amtek in Joint Venture with FormTech for Forging Plant

Indian auto components maker Amtek Auto Ltd has announced it has signed a joint venture agreement with Michigan's FormTech Industries LLC to set up a automotive forgings manufacturing unit. Amtek will take 51 percent in the venture.

The new facility, which will serve India and Europe, is expected to be operational in about 12-18 months, the company said.
