Inductoheat Inc. of Madison Heights, MI, has expanded its inductor coil build and repair department. Company officials say the expansion is a direct result of increasing customer demands for longer coil life and less downtime.
With the expansion, ten staffers are dedicated to assembly and brazing of inductor coils. Three additional people are dedicated to building balance modules, current transformers, chokes, balance coils, commutation coils, toroid coils, and litz wire transformers. An additional twenty people are responsible for machining, designing, and developing new inductors.
The Inductotherm Group company operates a state-of-the-art machine shop in tandem with its inductor design, build, and repair area.
