ENCY Software Brings CAD/CAM and Robotics Platform to IMTS 2026
ENCY Software will make its U.S. debut at IMTS 2026, introducing ENCY 3.0 and a full CAD/CAM and robot programming lineup to North American dealers, machine tool builders, robot manufacturers, and integrators. The company will be at Booth 135750 in the East Building, Level 3 Software Sector, September 14-19 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
ENCY Software launched in September 2024 out of Limassol, Cyprus, positioning itself against CAD/CAM tools it says have changed little in decades. The company's pitch centers on a shared workflow: one platform connecting CNC programmers, robot integrators, and shop-floor operators instead of separate, disconnected tools.
IMTS 2026 marks the brand's first U.S. show appearance and its first push to build a North American partner network.

Shops running both CNC machines and robots typically piece together separate software for each. ENCY's line is built to cover both from one system, which the company says cuts down on the handoffs and rework that come with juggling multiple programming tools. For plants adding robotic machine tending or moving into robotic machining, this single-platform approach can simplify training and support instead of adding another system to the floor.
What's New in ENCY 3.0
ENCY 3.0 adds a macros engine that lets users record and reuse actions, automate routine operations, and build more advanced workflows manually, through scripts, or with AI coding tools. Alongside it, ENCY Software is introducing AI-assisted CAM: help with cost estimation, project troubleshooting, feature recognition, and programming setup, aimed at cutting the time programmers lose tracking down and fixing errors.
On the CNC side, a new tool assembly system builds and manages realistic tool assemblies, including holders, adapters, and cutting inserts, so simulation and collision checking better reflect what will actually happen on the machine.
A new 3D Surfacing operation combines Plane, Waterline, Scallop, and combined finishing strategies into one workflow for 3-axis finishing, aimed at fewer transitions and cleaner toolpaths on steep and shallow surfaces. Auto Check Holder automatically tilts the tool to avoid holder collisions, and a new Feeds and Speeds tool calculates cutting conditions from built-in data instead of manual lookup, letting shops build their own libraries over time.
ENCY 3.0 also extends into more advanced manufacturing work: Blade Machining for complex 5-axis work on blades, impellers, and bladed disks; swarf machining for cleaner 5-axis finishing of side surfaces and complex walls; and planar, non-planar, and radial slicing for additive and hybrid deposition paths on parts like rings, sleeves, shells, and helical surfaces. For sheet cutting, new nesting tools combine AI-based contour recognition with conventional placement algorithms to speed up layout and cut material waste.
On the robotics side, SmartMotion with Auto Axis Map calculates the motion of the robot, linear axes, rotary axes, and moving workpiece as one connected system, which ENCY says reduces manual motion setup and the risk of collisions and singularities in complex cells with added axes. ENCY 3.0 also expands laser cutting for both CNC machines and robots, with automatic recognition of cutting features, interactive geometry and toolpath editing, and support generation.

- ENCY: CAD/CAM software for CNC programming, built around an intuitive interface.
- ENCY Robot: Offline robot programming with toolpath calculation, kinematics management, and simulation, covering milling, cutting, trimming, polishing, grinding, and additive processes on robots from any manufacturer.
- ENCY Hyper: Real-time robot programming and adjustment, aimed at production cells where robots load and unload CNC machines.
- ENCY Tuner: A shop-floor G-code simulator and editor for verifying and reworking legacy G-code.
