Data Acquisition System

ANGSTROM CORPORATION's SmartDaq data acquisition system for mechanical forging presses takes the tonnage and alarm data from the Smart Gauge tonnage monitoring system and organizes the data into Excel spreadsheet files for anytime access after the production run. The system also has the capability to sort all of the forging cycles (bust, block, and finish) into separate files. This makes graphing the relevant information versus time of day/night very easy. The system creates a separate spreadsheet file for each forging cycle, places them into a file folder, and names it after the production run serial number. www.smartgauge.com
