Coriolis Flow Meters Measure Mass Flow, Density, and Temperatur
When precise mass flow, density, and temperature measurement is critical—and fluid viscosity or temperature fluctuates—traditional flow measurement approaches introduce uncertainty that affects allocation accuracy and process control. The HMFM Coriolis Flow Meter delivers direct mass flow measurement independent of changing fluid characteristics, with mass flow accuracy of ±0.1%, density accuracy of ±0.0005 g/cm³, and temperature accuracy of ±0.2°C (±0.36°F).
Built on Coriolis measurement principles, the meters measure mass flow directly rather than deriving it from volumetric readings, which eliminates the need for fluid property compensation. The platform covers liquid and gas applications across upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas, as well as chemical processing and industrial utility environments.
The HMFM is constructed with 316L stainless steel components and carries an explosion-proof design rated for hazardous area installations. Transmitter mounting is available in both direct and remote configurations, accommodating elevated-temperature processes and locations with limited access. Photosensitive control buttons allow user interface without removing the enclosure cover.
