FE4P220N Lithium Forklift Lifts 22,000 lb Loads
Steel service centers, ports, paper mills, and other heavy industrial facilities running large-capacity lift trucks through multiple shifts need equipment that can handle continuous duty without long charging downtime or the maintenance demands of internal combustion. The FE4P220N Heavy-Duty Lithium Forklift is a 22,000 lb (9,980 kg) capacity electric forklift built around lithium battery technology rather than adapted from a diesel platform, designed to replace internal combustion trucks in demanding lifting applications.
The forklift runs on a 96V/920 Ah LiFePO₄ lithium battery that reaches full charge in as little as 2 to 2.5 hours, with opportunity charging during operator breaks and shift changes supporting continuous multishift operation without battery swaps. A Curtis CAN bus control system manages dual AC drive motors, infinitely variable hydraulic controls, and a 4-way proportional hydraulic valve for load handling.
Automatic speed reduction while turning, hydraulic cushioning, and an independent steering system add stability during operation. Front and rear cameras work with an AI Pedestrian Detection System that monitors the surrounding work area, alerts the operator when a pedestrian is detected, and automatically stops the forklift if someone enters the designated safety zone.
The battery is managed by a Battery Management System paired with thermal management and automotive-grade high-voltage controls, and is covered by a 10-year or 20,000-hour warranty.
