9810 Series AC Power Sources Simulate Global Power Conditions up to 1000 VA

B&K Precision's 9810 Series delivers programmable AC output with built-in power line disturbance simulation across two models.

Testing transformers, TRIACs, SCRs, and passive components requires the ability to replicate a wide range of global power conditions and waveform anomalies—often across production, R&D, and service environments. B&K Precision's 9810 Series is a line of two programmable AC power sources—the 9812 and 9814-220V—delivering up to 1,000 VA of low-distortion output with an adjustable voltage range of 0 to 300V AC and a frequency range of 45 to 500 Hz.

List Mode allows users to sequence up to 50 programs, each containing 9 configurable steps. Each step can be set with specific voltage, frequency, and timing parameters, including ramp-up and dwell times. The built-in Power Line Disturbance (PLD) simulator generates common waveform anomalies—surges, sags, and spikes—for immunity testing. A dimmer simulation feature supports motor and lighting control testing by adjusting phase cut-off from 0° to 180°.

A 4.3 in (10.9 cm) color LCD displays voltage, current, frequency, power factor, and crest factor. The front panel includes a universal AC output terminal. Rear-panel connectivity includes RS232 and USB (VCOM) interfaces for remote operation and system integration.

Built-in protections cover overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent (OCP), overpower (OPP), and overtemperature (OTP). An OC fold feature automatically reduces voltage to keep current within safe limits. The series ships with a 3-year warranty and certificate of calibration.
