PoWa Cobot Family Offers Payloads Up to 30 kg at 5.8 m/s
ABB Robotics' PoWa cobot family is a line of six collaborative robots with payload capacities ranging from 15 to 66 lb (7 to 30 kg), designed for industrial-grade machine tending, palletizing, screwdriving, and arc welding applications.
The PoWa 10 and PoWa 13 models reach a top speed of 19 ft/s (6 m/s).
The family is built for compact environments and bridges the gap between traditional cobots, which often lack the speed and payload for demanding industrial tasks, and conventional industrial robots designed for large-scale, specialized automation.
PoWa models can be unboxed and operational within one hour and support plug-and-play compatibility with a wide range of third-party tools and accessories.
Programming is handled through programmable buttons on the arm-side interface alongside no-code programming options, lowering the barrier to deployment for both SMEs and large enterprises.
The cobots are powered by the OmniCore controller platform and integrate with RobotStudio and Wizard Easy Programming software for deployment, monitoring, and uptime management.
