Argo 500 Hyperspeed Mission Ready 3D Printer Targets Aerospace, Defense Parts

Roboze's Argo 500 Hyperspeed Mission Ready features a heated chamber and integrated moisture control for advanced polymer processing.

Roboze's Argo 500 Hyperspeed Mission Ready is an industrial additive manufacturing platform designed to produce high-performance polymer and composite parts for aerospace and defense applications. The build volume is 20 x 20 x 20 in (500 x 500 x 500 mm).

The heated chamber reaches 356°F (180°C) and supports extrusion temperatures up to 842°F (450°C). Positional accuracy is 0.0004 in (10 μm). The system uses a beltless drive architecture.

Integrated material conditioning manages moisture throughout the print process. An advanced air drying unit treats incoming air through a dual-membrane filtration system, producing ultra-dry air pumped into high-temperature dryers at 248°F (120°C) heating temperature. The system achieves a dew point of -112°F (-80°C) and delivers conditioned filament to the extrusion head at 0.01% moisture content.

Compatible materials include ULTEM 9085, an aerospace-grade thermoplastic for lightweight structural and flame-retardant applications, and Carbon PEEK, a carbon-fiber-reinforced PEEK for high-mechanical-load and high-temperature environments. The platform is UL, UE, and UKCA certified.
