Inductotherm Group, headquartered in Rancocas, NJ, has appointed Douglas R. Brown as president, Forging Division. He is based in the Group’s Inductoheat, Inc., Madison Heights, MI, office. His new responsibilities include the global sales, marketing, and manufacture of induction heating for forging products including the group's new InductoForge line of billet heaters.
Brown has 25 years of experience in the induction industry, 15 of which have been in forging. Prior to his current position, he served as director of forging-North America for the Inductotherm Group, and also as president of the Alpha 1 Induction Service Center, an Inductotherm Group company.
