Yaker Named VP Sales and Marketing at Firth Rixson

Replaces Alan Erickson, who is retiring.

Firth Rixson Ltd. has appointed Jeffrey Yaker to be vice president sales and marketing, assuming the position vacated by Alan Erickson, who is retiring. Yaker joined FRL in 2003 as general manager, Firth Rixson, FMI.

Yaker began his aerospace career with GE Aircraft Engines in Evendale, OH, and Albuquerque, NM. He has more than 25 years of aerospace experience, most recently with Goodrich where he held leadership positions in several different operations. His last assignment was President, Turbomachinery Products.

Yaker earned Bachelor of Metallurgical Engineering and Master of Science, Metallurgical Engineering degrees in 1972 and 1974, respectively, from the University of Michigan. He is relocating with his family to Connecticut and will be based in the East Hartford office of Firth Rixson.
