Newelco, part of Inductoheat (Europe), has received another order for a large billet heater from a major automotive parts manufacturer in Brazil. The 9 T/hr. billet heater will heat square and round billets sized up to 124 mm and 110 mm respectively. In addition, Newelco is supplying an automatic coil billet emptying system to reduce downtime and the number of rejected billets at the end of a production run.
At this same facility, Newelco is also refurbishing a twin billet-heating line totaling 6,400 kW to increase overall throughput and efficiency.
