Bernard M. Raffner has been named Group Vice President of Inductotherm’s worldwide Mass Heating & Coating Division, serving the steel industry. Andrew Procopio has joined Inductotherm as National Sales Manager in the company’s Mass Heating & Coating Division.
Raffner, who joined Inductotherm in 1973 as a field service engineer, most recently served as Inductotherm’s senior vice president of technology and head of the Engineering Department.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Capetown in 1971 and his Master of Business Administration degree from the School of Business Leadership of UNISA.
Procopio has 30 years of experience in the steel industry, starting as a metallurgical engineer with Bethlehem Steel in Sparrows Point, MD. He most recently served as Product Manager for Pannier Corporation in Pittsburgh, PA.
Procopio earned his Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering at New York University in 1975 and a Master of Business Administration degree at Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh in 1992.
He is an active member of the Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST), the AIST Continuous Casting Operating Committee and Coating & Processing Lines Committee.
