Measuring the transmission value of prefroms, the P1 desktop instrument for quality control measures how much light passes through a preform or plastic cap. The instrument is able to measure from transparent (100% transmission) to very dark, almost opaque preforms (0.1%).
Small changes in transmission values are detected in an early stage minimizing waste and valuable production time, eliminating human errors during visual inspection.
The instrument is robust and easy to use as it has only 2 buttons to operate; one for calibration and one to start a measurement.
Measurement data is displayed on the instruments LCD or can be logged to a PC via Ethernet.
