R&S UDS digital multimeters are compact benchtop instruments designed to display up to three measurements simultaneously while providing high accuracy and versatile functionality. Available in 5.5 and 6.5-digit models, the series includes a 6.5-digit version with a basic DC accuracy of 0.0075%.
These multimeters support a wide range of applications, from troubleshooting and component testing to system validation and educational labs. Suitable for production environments, the units offer voltage ranges up to 1,000V DC and 750V AC, and current measurements up to 10 A. A 3.5-in OVGA color display provides clear visibility, while the updated user interface simplifies navigation and enhances productivity.
In addition to 12 standard measurement functions, the series includes built-in statistical and mathematical capabilities. It supports both 2 and 4-wire measurements and enables limit testing for quality control and validation applications.
Connectivity options include USB, IEEE-488 (GPIB), and LAN (Ethernet), allowing integration into automated test setups or production systems using SCPI-based remote commands. The series replaces the R&S HMC8012 and is part of a broader essentials portfolio targeting high-performance, cost-efficient testing.
