March 16, 2006 - Servoflo Corporation of Lexington, Massachusetts is pleased to announce the Metallux ME680 stainless steel pressure sensor. Key features of the Metallux ME680 include its stainless steel package, which eliminates the need for an o-ring while allowing for the measurement of various media. In addition, the sensor accepts high pressure measurements, with models ranging from 0 to 10 bar, up to 400 bar. Specifications of the Metallux ME680 include an overpressure range greater than 2 1/2 times the nominal overpressure, and a burst pressure of great than 5 times nominal pressure. With a wide supply voltage range from 5 to 30VDC, the pressure sensor offers linearity, hysteresis, and repeatability of better than ±0.5% full-scale. Dimensions of 29.5 X 6.35 millimeters allow for use in small locations. With a wide operating temperature range of –40°C to 135°C in addition to the media compatibility, make the Metallux ME680 useful in a wide variety of applications including hydraulic and water systems, high pressure situations, and refrigerated areas. Sold in the United States and Canada by Servoflo Corporation, the Metallux ME680 with header is priced approx. $39 in quantities over 1,000 pieces. Samples will be available in May 2006.
