igubal KGLM LC Mini Bearings are Light and Resilient

igus' resilient, self-aligning mini bearing is part of the igubal spherical bearings line and has a wall diameter half that of the standard model.

A highly resilient, self-aligning bearing with a wall thickness of just 3 mm, the KGLM LC mini bearing is part of the igubal spherical bearings line and has a wall diameter half that of the standard model. It requires minimal installation space and can be supplied immediately ex-stock.

The self-aligning bearing is light and compact, requires no lubrication, is simple to install, and adapts to all angular misalignments. The housing and spherical ball liner absorb vibrations differently than steel: the rotational, swiveling, and oscillating movements of the self-supporting shaft take place within the spherical cap, which has a dampening effect. The bearing housing is made of igumid G, a reinforced polymer developed by igus.

The internal, independently moving spherical ball is made of iglide L280, which means a minimum coefficient of friction with the shaft. iglide L280 is a highly wear-resistant, long-life polymer; suitable for even harsh environments and rough shafts.
