The Bumotec 191neo is a machining center that provides visibility of the different zones within the machine with a large area of windows and well-positioned access doors. It also features accessibility for all operators within the ergonomic enclosure.
It is available in four versions: “P" with vice, "PRM" with multipurpose pickup vice, "R" with back-working spindle, and "RP" with a combined vice and back-working spindle. There is also a choice of bar passage diameters: 1.6 in. (42 mm), 1.9 in. (50 mm) or 2.5 in. (65 mm). These choices create a precision machining solution with 12 separate faces based on a single platform.
The machining center has a touch display man-machine interface; among other functions, it can be used to monitor the progress of current operations, configure the programming or track production in real time.
It features stability during production without any intervention from operators. The improvements of this update of the range include reduced tool change time, a milling spindle with higher torque, and a back-working movement controlled by an electric motor. The tool magazine has 90 positions and integrates a tool breakage probe that runs in parallel.
In addition to milling and turning, it can also be used for grinding, polishing, skiving, gear hobbing, and diamond cutting.
