Control Station and Dimension Software Partner to Bring Control Loop Monitoring into Operations Dashboards
Control Station and Dimension Software have partnered to connect PlantESP, Control Station's control loop performance monitoring (CLPM) platform, with Dimension Software's Asset Intellect operations intelligence environment. The integration pulls PlantESP diagnostics—flagging oscillations, valve stiction, and poorly tuned loops—into Asset Intellect dashboards alongside production, maintenance, and business data, so engineering and operations teams can see control issues and act on them in one place without switching platforms.
Industry data indicates 30 to 40% of industrial control loops run below optimal performance, contributing to production losses, excess energy consumption, and quality inconsistencies. The integration targets the gap between identifying those issues and coordinating a response across the organization.
"By partnering with Dimension Software, we are expanding our ecosystem of world-class technology partners while making it easier for manufacturers to translate control performance insights into operational improvements," said Damien Munroe, vice president of partner development at Control Station.
Through our partnership with Control Station, we are able to offer customers a fully integrated and market-leading CLPM capability while continuing our mission of unlocking operational value from existing data and systems.

Asset Intellect is a browser-based, low-code, vendor-agnostic platform that aggregates data from enterprise systems, including AVEVA PI, SAP/Maximo, and Power BI, as well as process alarms, IIoT feeds, and geospatial systems. Dimension Software, founded in 2008 and headquartered in New Zealand, supports more than 15,000 enterprise users across chemicals, mining, oil & gas, and pulp & paper.
"We have first-hand experience with control loop performance monitoring and recognize both the importance of optimizing regulatory control and the complexity involved in analyzing process data," said Yong The, director of business development and global sales at Dimension Software.
PlantESP uses a facility's existing historical process data to identify control loop issues that degrade throughput and product quality. It's available directly from Control Station and through its distribution partners.
The companies are planning a joint webinar in April 2026 to demonstrate the integrated workflow. Control Station will also participate in Dimension Software's inaugural user conference in June 2026.
