An expanded range of Design Envelope Permanent Magnet pumps deliver a 35 to 65% reduction in energy consumption compared to conventional integrated pumps with induction motors.

Available with motors up to 60 hp, these Design Envelope Permanent Magnet pumps operate at NEMA ultra-premium efficiency levels that exceed the targets set by the U.S. Department of Energy and the NRCan Office of Energy Efficiency.

The pumps feature smaller overall dimensions and are easier to install as permanent magnet motor technology offers a reduction in both size and weight. The compact design also lowers embodied carbon, which improves sustainability.

Design Envelope technology also provides highly accurate flow metering (+/- 5%) so contractors can avoid the cost of purchasing and installing flow meters for HVAC systems.

Armstrong’s patented Parallel Sensorless Control stages multiple pumps and regulates output for best efficiency across the entire pump array, saving up to 30% in operating costs.
