Arnold Magnetic Technologies, a subsidiary of Compass Diversified and manufacturer of high-performance magnets and precision components, has signed a major supply agreement with Less Common Metals (LCM) and Solvay to secure Western-sourced rare earth materials for its production of advanced permanent magnets. The move strengthens Arnold's supply chain and supports long-term stability for customers in aerospace, defense, automotive, and energy markets.

Through the agreement, Arnold can ensure reliable access to high-quality neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium, terbium, and samarium—critical components in high-performance magnets used in motors, generators, sensors, and other precision systems.

"As market demand accelerates for sustainable, Western-sourced magnet materials, Arnold is taking decisive action to guarantee supply and provide commercial flexibility for our customers," said Aaron Williams, Chief Commercial Officer of Arnold Magnetic Technologies. "This partnership further reinforces our ability to serve global markets with next-generation magnetic solutions."

Solvay highlighted the collaboration's importance for high-performance applications in Europe's aerospace industry, framing it as part of a broader push for secure and sustainable rare earth supply chains.

The partnership complements Arnold's ongoing investments in Switzerland and expanded manufacturing in Thailand, positioning the company to serve global markets more competitively. It also follows Solvay's recent commissioning of a neodymium-praseodymium production line and planned launches for other rare earth elements in France.
