Nova Carter, powered by Nova Orin reference architecture, is a complete robotics development platform that accelerates the development and deployment of next-generation AMRs.

Nova Carter integrates the Segway RMP Lite 220 differential drive system, the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, and a comprehensive sensor suite into a fully functional robot, ready to use out of the box.

The NVIDIA AGX Orin is used for accelerated computing under Robot Operating System (ROS) 2, offering a complete 360-deg. perception from cameras and light detection and ranging (LiDAR). It also features high-performance computing modules, multiple sensors, autonomous driving development software and tools, as well as a highly secure and reliable design, providing strong support for the development and implementation of autonomous driving technology.

Nova Carter is packed with design features that are ideal for prototyping and large-scale deployment. It's engineered to integrate with the NVIDIA Isaac AMR autonomy platform, which enables it to execute tasks such as surround perception, 3D mapping, and autonomous navigation. In practical cases, the AMR can collect data for mapping test areas such as warehouses or factories. The processed data can then be deployed to Carter for fully autonomous operations for specific use.
