Ehrhardt Partner Group (EPG) has expanded its automation portfolio through a new partnership with Locus Robotics, integrating the company's software-driven fulfillment solution directly into EPG's warehouse management system (WMS).

The integration puts Locus autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) under the coordination of EPG ONE WMS, which manages order backlogs and distributes tasks to the robots. The units handle travel-intensive transport routes between pick locations, reducing walking distances for workers and cutting overall pick times. EPG says the close coupling between its WMS and the Locus orchestration software is central to how the solution performs in practice.

For operations evaluating warehouse automation, EPG is also running the Locus system live at its Logistics Solution Center (LSC) in Boppard, Germany—alongside existing AutoStore cube storage and Kardex lift storage demonstrations. The side-by-side setup is designed to let visitors compare automation approaches and assess which configurations fit their warehouse profiles before committing to a deployment.

The partnership is part of a broader push by EPG to build out a technology-agnostic automation platform. Additional robotics integrations and new LSC demonstrators are already in development.

Locus Robotics operates on a Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS) model, with deployments at more than 350 sites across retail, healthcare, 3PL, and industrial sectors. EPG serves over 1,600 organizations worldwide with supply chain execution software spanning WMS, warehouse control, workforce management, shipping, and route optimization.
