VIKING BLAST & WASH SYSTEMS offers industrial cleaning solutions for all sizes and shapes of metal parts, and its newest blasting system is the WH48 — designed for blasting automotive and truck rims from 12 to 26 in. diameter. The rims are either rolled or loaded on a pneumatic loader for delivery to the blasting cabinet.
The WH48 is capable of blasting both paint and powder-coated rims. The eject system will not eject rims smaller than 14 in. diameter.
This system is been equipped with two VK Powermax, 15-HP blast wheels; a 2-HP bucket elevator, with air-wash separator to clean abrasive prior to blasting; and a door safety interlock to prevent the door from being opened during the blasting process.
The cabinet is constructed of quarter-inch thick manganese alloy steel and lined with cast chrome/moly liners.
Most applications are covered by the standard offering, but the WH48 also can be fitted with an auxiliary abrasive hopper, and 20-, 25-, or 30-HP blast wheels.
All Viking cartridge style dust collectors are sold with NFPA-required deflagration panels as standard.
