Escaping Arc Clamp

SERAPID’s TBHS escaping arc clamp is specially suited for high-temperature forging applications, where die swelling is an issue. It moves in an arced path so there is no risk of it sticking. This clamp also is well suited for automated systems where sensing position is required. Available in a range of sizes, accommodating dies of 2-63 metric tons. Optional sensors are available to detect the clamped and unclamped positions, and can be installed on either the press bolster or ram.
