LD-2000 Series Butterfly Valves Get Molded-In Liner, 14 to 36-in Sizes

NIBCO's LD-2000 Series butterfly valves provide bi-directional, dead-end isolation up to 200 psi on large-diameter lines.

Liners in large-diameter butterfly valves can shift or seat unevenly during installation. That creates leak paths and slows commissioning on commercial mechanical and utility piping. LD-2000 Series Large Diameter Butterfly Valves now use a liner molded directly into the body, replacing a separate cartridge liner. This gives more consistent sealing and fewer liner problems in the field.

The large-diameter line now covers sizes from 14 to 36 in (356 to 914 mm). The valves provide bi-directional and dead-end isolation at pressures up to 200 psi (13.8 bar), including end-of-line service at full rated pressure. An extended neck clears up to 2 in (51 mm) of pipe insulation. That suits chilled and hot water lines without cutting back the insulation around the valve.
