MOBILAIR M17A Portable Compressor Adds Integrated Aftercooler
Cable blowing and duct cleaning applications require exceptionally dry air to prevent damage to agitation tools and protect HVAC systems from water intrusion. Kaeser Compressor's MOBILAIR M17A portable compressor addresses this need with an integrated aftercooler built directly into a single, compact package, eliminating the extra mounting space required by a stand-alone external aftercooler.
The aftercooler operates with an approach temperature of 15° to 20°F (8° to 11°C) and includes a centrifugal separator to remove moisture from the compressed air stream. All electrical and air connections are built directly into the unit. The M17A is available in two flow and pressure combinations: 60 cfm (1.7 m³/min) at up to 100 psig (6.9 bar), or 35 cfm (1 m³/min) at up to 217 psig (15 bar). Removing moisture from the airstream helps extend the service life of downstream pneumatic tools.
A folding handle and oversized pneumatic tires allow the unit to be moved around a job site, and it can also be base-mounted in a truck bed. The enclosure is made of roto-molded polyethylene (PE) for noise and impact protection.
