EG SP Series Rotary Screw Air Compressors Deliver up to 15% Energy Savings
ELGi Compressors' EG SP "Super Premium" Series of oil-injected rotary screw air compressors now offers a range of models from 100 to 200 hp, suited for automotive, packaging, mining, agriculture, textile, and manufacturing applications.
Two-stage airends with an η-V profile distribute operational load evenly across each stage, reducing energy demand by up to 15% compared to previous models and extending component lifespan. Optional built-in Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) automatically adjust motor speed to match real-time air demand, providing up to an additional 25% energy savings at partial load.
Motors are NEMA Premium Efficiency-rated with a TEFC (totally enclosed fan-cooled) design, direct coupling to the airend to minimize transmission losses, and a high ambient temperature rating. The series includes the Neuron 4 controller with a 7-in touchscreen interface capable of managing up to 8 compressors simultaneously.
Connectivity options include Ethernet, RS485, CAN, TCP/IP, and MODBUS.
The interface supports up to 32 languages and includes a real-time mimic display for system visualization and reverse rotation prevention.
