H125 Four-Way Pallet Shuttle Offers In-Place Track Switching

ZS Robotics has introduced its H125 Four-Way Pallet Shuttle to the U.S. for pallet automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) market, with a 5 in (125 mm) chassis height, designed to retrofit into existing buildings without major disruption to operations.
The shuttle combines four-way travel, in-place track switching, automatic transport, and smart monitoring in a low-profile chassis. It runs on conventional shuttle racking, charges on standard 120V single-phase power, and integrates with existing warehouse management software. The system can be installed in cross-floor, multicolumn, and irregular buildings.
Thirteen sensors dedicated to safety handle obstacle avoidance, pallet presence sensing, and load imbalance sensing, among other functions. The charging cabinet uses a mechanically self-sealing structure and a fire safety system that operates independently of electronic controls and software. The system complies with CE, UL, and CSA safety standards.
Scheduling software coordinates multiple tasks and shuttles using conflict-free pathing to prevent traffic jams and bottlenecks, and it supports global optimization for more than 200 shuttles. Charging times are coordinated to limit downtime, and a single-shuttle failure does not stop the rest of the system. More than 90% of components are modular and can be removed, serviced, and replaced in as little as five minutes.
