The Enerpac LHS4-2 skidding system is a modular low-height skidding system designed for load movement up to 400T. It is backward compatible with the LHSS400 system and features a new track coupling mechanism that requires no tools, allowing faster assembly.

The system’s modular configuration includes skid beams, skid track, and hydraulic push-pull units. Loads move across PTFE-coated pads on the skid tracks to reduce friction during operation. Push-pull cylinders are powered by a standard split flow pump to maintain synchronous travel of each skid beam and support bi-directional operation, eliminating cylinder repositioning when changing direction.

The LHS4-2 replaces bolted track joints with a hand twist coupling system for connection. Track length has increased from 38 in (96.5 cm) to 56.4 in (143.3 cm), supporting quicker assembly and disassembly. New skid track handling hooks improve ergonomics during setup. The system is delivered in a steel transport frame for safe handling, storage, and transportation.

The LHS4-2 Starter Kit includes 10 skid track units for two 23 ft (7 m) lines, two push-pull units, four skid beams, handling tools, and the transport frame. A Skid Track Kit is also available, containing a transport frame and 14 skid tracks for two 32.8 ft (10 m) lines.

Features:

  • Modular low-height skidding design for loads up to 400T
  • Tool-free hand twist track coupling system
  • Track length extended to 56.4 in (143.3 cm)
  • PTFE-coated skid pads to reduce friction
