Tandem E-Mover EMLSD25 Skates Synchronize Heavy Load Positioning
Moving large, bulky equipment through confined, low-clearance industrial spaces often means relying on high-risk vertical lifts and multiple operators working without a shared view of the load. The Tandem E-Mover EMLSD25 is a battery-powered skate that operates in synchronized pairs to move and position heavy loads horizontally, with a single unit handling jobs up to 50 tons and two units combining for capacities up to 80 tons.
Sync-Drive technology links up to four EMLSD25 skates into one coordinated transport platform using camera-based 360° angle and lifting stroke detection with real-time communication between units. Preset functions align multiple skates to a shared coordinate system for synchronized tandem movement. Each compact chassis houses the drive, steering, lifting, control electronics, and lithium battery power management.
An integrated 3-in (70-mm) hydraulic lifting cylinder lets operators lift and align loads without vertical lifting equipment. Lifting controls are integrated with movement controls for incremental raising or lowering of loads with continuous monitoring feedback. Dual electric drive motors and gearboxes support multiple steering modes, including zero-radius turning, carousel, crab, and dual-axis steering, for navigating restricted workspaces.
The remote-control interface has a high-visibility color display with live telemetry, including real-time sensor values, load balance, traction, lifting height, and system diagnostics. When two skates are used, a second remote control provides a monitoring and safety function for situations where the load blocks the main operator's view. Shared safety logic continuously monitors operating parameters and issues automatic warnings or halts movement if parameters are exceeded. The zero-emission skates operate quietly and provide approximately 4 h of runtime with fast recharging.
The complete E-Mover EMV80SD system includes two EMLSD25 skates, two MLSR20B100 follower skates, and two remote controls.
