TS 7plus Roller Conveyor Handles Heavy Payloads Up to 6,600 lb

Bosch Rexroth's TS 7plus is a fully electric, modular roller conveyor transfer system designed to transport workpieces weighing up to 6,600 lb (3,000 kg). Material moves via conveyor rollers on freely configurable modular sections that include lift/transverse, rotary, and positioning units, as well as stop gates. Workpiece pallets measure up to 87 x 118 in (2,200 x 3,000 mm), and the minimum transportation height for both longitudinal and transverse conveying is 14 in (350 mm), supporting manual processes and employee ergonomics.

Conveyor sections use either solid or hollow rollers, approximately 50% larger than those in the previous TS 7 system. The reduced number of moving parts per meter increases availability, and a redesigned bearing block with two mounting tabs enables faster assembly and easier maintenance replacement.

Drive is handled via king shafts rather than chain drives, eliminating the need for lubrication and minimizing maintenance requirements. Motor torque is transmitted to the conveyor rollers through bevel gears, which reduces workpiece contamination and requires no re-tensioning or maintenance.

In conventional accumulation mode, stop gates hold workpiece pallets at defined stations. In segmented operation mode, motors for section transport, rotary units, and lift/transverse units run only when needed. This demand-based operation reduces energy consumption across the system's life cycle, lowers the total cost of ownership, and allows for smaller motor sizing with extended service life. Available motor outputs are 180 W and 250 W, and an interface supports the use of third-party motors.

Motors can be mounted on either the inside or outside of the conveyor section. Internal mounting eliminates protruding contours that could obstruct travel paths or interfere with employees. Conveyor speed reaches up to 79 ft/min (24 m/min).

Configuration is handled through MTpro planning software, available as a locally installable full version or as a browser-based option called MTpro Online Designer. The software guides users through system configuration, then automatically generates CAD models and parts lists that can be transferred to the Rexroth Store or to certified partners.
