Avancon is a Swiss company dedicated to cutting-edge conveying technology. Its conveyors are already in large logistics systems, in order picking systems, in airport checkpoints, and in other industries. So far, two general concepts have been successfully developed and delivered in all the world: the Avancon ZPC (Zone Powered Conveyor) as a roller conveyor and as a belt conveyor, and the Avancon OTU (Omnidirectional Transfer Unit) concept.

Systems built with the Avancon concept work fully autonomously, reduce energy consumption, are made of aluminum, and come with preprogrammed firmware and an easy interface. The Avancon–ZPC control system, based on the AS-i BUS, can be connected via a gateway to any bus or software.
