Tormach's Automatic Collet Closer is an air-actuated clamping accessory designed exclusively for the 8L Lathe, compatible with standard 5C collets. Clamping force is controlled by regulating input air pressure, enabling repeatable, adjustable part retention without manual drawtube operation. The system integrates with the PathPilot control system and includes an optional foot pedal for hands-free actuation.
