TDK B3292xU/V series film capacitors are X2-class safety capacitors designed for interference suppression in industrial and automotive circuits connected in series with the mains. The series supports capacitance values from 47 nF to 20 µF and lead spacings from 15 mm to 52.5 mm.

Rated at 350 V (AC), the capacitors withstand peak voltage pulses up to 2.5 kV under IEC 60384-14 requirements. The components are suited for across-the-line applications in space-constrained environments such as on-board chargers, EV charging systems, PV inverters, energy meters, and capacitive power supplies.

The series passed the THB test at +185°F (+85°C), 85% relative humidity, and rated voltage for 1000 h, meeting Grade III, Test Condition B requirements. The parts also support continuous operation up to +230°F (+110°C) and feature AEC-Q200 compliance, strong self-healing behavior, and a DC testing voltage of 1505 V for 2 s.

Compact construction enables integration into next-generation power electronics where EMI suppression must be achieved within limited space while maintaining durability under severe ambient conditions. Design tools and SPICE models are available to support development.
