H60D Dual DC Fast Charger Supports Simultaneous EV Charging
Fleet and site operators charging a mix of cars, buses, and trucks often need to serve more vehicles without adding hardware or expanding footprint. Heliox's H60D dual-outlet DC fast charger runs two parallel charging sessions from a single unit, cutting hardware spend and site footprint while increasing the number of vehicles served at each location.
The charger's two CCS1 outlets share power dynamically, allowing operators to deliver the full 60 kW output to one vehicle or split power between two vehicles as demand shifts throughout the day. Maximum DC output is 150 A. Peak efficiency above 96% minimizes power losses and maximizes energy delivered to vehicles.
The unit can be wall or pedestal-mounted and configured for networked or standalone operation, allowing installations to be scaled or customized to site constraints. An RFID capability supports driver access management for fleet authentication. A NEMA 3R-rated enclosure allows indoor or outdoor operation, and a compact, low-profile design supports installation in new or existing facilities. The charger is rated to operate from -22° to 131°F (-30° to 55°C).
The H60D supports the SAE J1772 (CCS Type-1) standard and a 200 to 1,000V DC output range, supporting current and next-generation commercial EV battery platforms. Communication is based on OCPP 1.6J and OCPP 2.0.1 open standards for vehicle-to-charger connectivity and smart-charging capabilities. The unit is engineered and manufactured in the United States and includes a standard 24-month warranty, with optional preventative maintenance programs available.
