MR P1600 Mobile Robot Platform Handles Heavy Loads with Contactless Charging
Pallet movement through factories and warehouses demands consistent material flow across every shift—but conventional automated vehicles lose availability to charging downtime, and integration complexity slows deployment. The MR P1600 is a standardized, modular mobile robot platform built for heavy-load transport, including pallets, in logistics and assembly environments. It supports configurable load-handling and contactless inductive charging to keep vehicles in operation longer.
The MR P1600 can be configured with MOVITRANS spot or MOVITRANS line inductive charging to reduce long charging breaks. Positioning accuracy is ±0.16 in (±4 mm), supporting repeatable docking and conveyor handoffs. Load-handling options include conveyor transfer, lift, drive-under, and precise docking, using standardized material transfer attachments or custom-engineered load handling. The platform carries loads up to 3,527 lb (1,600 kg) at speeds up to 5.2 ft/s (1.6 m/s) and handles grades up to ±7%.
Control and safety integration is supported through 360V + 24V DC, EtherCAT, FSoE, and Safe I/Os. Fleet connectivity is provided via WLAN communications and VDA 5050 support for fleet manager interoperability. The configurable energy storage system supports inductive power transfer via MOVITRANS at up to 11 kW.
