EP-M3050 Metal 3D Printer Offers 3,050 x 3,050 mm Build Area, Up to 256 Lasers
Eplus3D's EP-M3050 is an ultra-large-format metal powder bed fusion (PBF) system with a standard build area of 120 x 120 in (3,050 x 3,050 mm) and a customizable Z-axis up to 197 in (5,000 mm).
Build chamber options include square, cylindrical (Φ120 in / Φ3,050 mm), and an optional ring-shaped configuration for geometries such as casings and ring structures.
The standard laser configuration includes 100 lasers, scalable up to 256. Theoretical print speed under typical process conditions reaches 214 in³/h (3,500 cm³/h). The system uses coordinated scan strategies, path planning, and real-time process control to maintain part quality across the full build area.
Target applications include aerospace, aviation, energy, oil & gas, machinery, and advanced industrial manufacturing.
The system supports one-piece manufacturing of large structural components that would otherwise require multi-part assembly.
