HydroGraph Secures Site and Feedstock for New Texas Graphene Plant
HydroGraph is moving forward on its first large-scale U.S. graphene manufacturing facility, signing a long-term feedstock supply agreement and land lease with Western International Gas & Cylinders for a new plant in Bellville, Texas.
Under the agreements, HydroGraph USA will draw acetylene gas directly from Western International's pipeline network under a 10-year supply contract, with renewal options. Acetylene is the primary feedstock for HydroGraph's proprietary Hyperion Reactors, which convert hydrocarbon gas into the company's Fractal Graphene, a 99.8%-carbon-content material used in composites, coatings, and energy storage applications. HydroGraph also secured a long-term ground lease at Western International's Bellville site, where it will build, own, and operate the new facility.

The plant adds real production capacity to a domestic graphene supply chain that's still mostly built around imported feedstock. HydroGraph is also standing up three additional Hyperion Reactors at its Austin, Texas headquarters for development work, expected to add up to 30 tons/year (27.2 t/year) of capacity beginning in September 2026.
