BendPak, Inc. has completed Phase 1 of a major new campus in Mobile County, Alabama, naming it the Donald R. Henthorn Industrial Complex after the company's late founder. The 33-acre site expands the vehicle-lift and shop-equipment maker's East Coast footprint and is designed to speed up product availability for customers across the eastern U.S.

For plant managers and buyers who rely on BendPak's car lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, and other service equipment, the new facility means faster fulfillment—many in-stock items will ship same-day—and a dedicated showroom for hands-on product demos and training.

What's New:

• A 261,600-sq-ft (24,300-sq-m) logistics and distribution center consolidating warehousing, quality control, sales, and service under one roof
• Advanced material handling systems and safety-focused layout for operational efficiency
• 24 of BendPak's own Cool Boss CB20HVLS high-volume, low-speed ceiling fans keeping the warehouse climate-controlled
• A showroom featuring equipment from across BendPak's brand portfolio (Ranger, Autostacker, QuickJack, Cool Boss, APEX, JackPak, MaxJax, Ergochair)
• Site engineered for future expansion as demand grows

The new center helps automotive and industrial service operations, distributors, and buyers in the eastern U.S. looking for faster access to BendPak's lift and shop equipment lines.

This is the latest in a string of expansions for the privately held company, following growth at its Santa Paula, California manufacturing site and its Agoura Hills global headquarters. BendPak founder Don Henthorn led the company from 1965 until passing day-to-day leadership to the current team in 2022; he remained chairman emeritus until he died in 2024.
