Auto parts supplier Dana Holding Corp. reports it will be supplying rear-axle assembles to Beiqi Foton Motors, for installation in its 2012 model year SUVs and pick-up trucks. The value of the contract was not released.
Beiqi Foton Motors is a holding company for several Chinese manufacturers of light and heavy-duty trucks, agricultural tractors, and various other machinery.
Dana said it worked closely with Foton to offer local manufacturing and assembly options. The axle assemblies will be manufactured by Dana’s Fujian Spicer affiliate in Fuzhou, China.
