Back in 2021, the manufacturing industry surpassed pre-pandemic levels for production and capacity use with additional factors signaling strong growth into 2022 according to a report from Deloitte—which is astounding considering the supply chain issues and material shortages happening across the industry.

However, these shortages are spurring investment in sustainability priorities, including companies expanding their footprint to reduce supply chain headaches.

Here's a list of the latest new plants and labs popping up all over the country (and some out of the country). Hopefully, some of these will help with your business's supply chain and material shortage issues.
