Girard Engineering Inc. will be displaying a new clutch/brake control system at Forge Fair 2006. This control system meets and/or exceeds all of the OSHA and ANSI safety requirements for a mechanical press. It utilizes dual Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLCs as well as an Allen Bradley PanelView Plus for ease of operation. The system is expandable so it can grow as manufacturing requirements and/or needs change. The control system can easily be integrated into a robotics cell as well as with other line automation.
