Inductoheat Posts Engineers to New Positions

April 22, 2008
New applications engineer, project engineer, district sales manager

Inductoheat Inc. recently named Derek Docusen as its new Applications Engineering Manager. Docusen has been the group’s aftermarket sales engineer, and has held a range of sales positions with Inductoheat for the past 15 years.

A part of the Inductotherm group, Inductoheat develops and supplies induction-heating equipment for case hardening, tempering, annealing, bonding, brazing, strip/slab heating, galvannealing, and other applications.

Docusen will be responsible for quoting equipment orders, on-site customer service, and standard product releases.

The company also appointed Brian Lockitski to a new post as project engineer. Formerly Inductoheat’s North American sales manager, he has 12 years of experience in the induction heating industry, with a primary focus on the forging market.

Lockitski will be responsible for managing new projects, communicating delivery schedules, and generating and releasing autoCAD drawings. He will supervise the preparation of all project-change orders and monitor mechanical construction activities in conjunction with the onsite floor manager, to ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget requirements.

Also, Inductoheat has named Scott Berry is the new district sales manager for Aftermarket and Equipment. Berry has 30 years of experience in the induction-heating industry, in activities that range from R&D process development to equipment sales — including time as general manager of a commercial heat treater, and as a consultant.

Berry will be responsible for aftermarket spare-parts sales and service, as well as for complete induction-heating machines. His sales district covers parts of northern and central Michigan, central Indiana and central Kentucky.
