According to a report in The Business Journal of Milwaukee, Ladish Co. has reached an agreement with Local 1862 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers at its Cudahy Forging plant in Cudahy, WI. The IAMAW union is one of six unions the Cudahy plant. The five other groups will negotiate for their contracts later this year..
The new contract reportedly includes improvements in pensions and an agreement by the employees to share the increased costs of group health insurance.
Ladish also operates a forging plant in Poland and has other operations in Oregon and Connecticut.
