David Dauch of American Axle Carries On the Family Tradition

    Richard Dauch was known for his innovative manufacturing strategy and transformational management roles.  His son, David, continues that legacy.

    David Dauch, Chairman, President and CEO of American Axle, has some tough shoes to fill.  But fill them he does.

    "A lot of the foundation that I operate from today is from my father," he said. "He taught not only myself but a lot of other people, and he reached a lot of people in a positive way over the years."

    David has been at the helm of AAM since September of 2012.
