TRIVAC L Rotary Vane Pump Features Patented 3-Stage Gas Ballast
Leybold's TRIVAC L is an air-cooled, two-stage rotary vane vacuum pump. The oil-sealed pump generates pressures in the rough and fine vacuum range and can serve as a backing pump compatible with Roots, diffusion, turbomolecular, and cryogenic pumps. It's suited for use in analytics, research and development, metallurgy, the production of air conditioning systems and heat pumps, the freeze-drying of food and pharmaceuticals, and the coating of carrier materials for semiconductor or solar technology.
A patented three-stage gas ballast provides water vapor tolerance for production environments with high humidity. The pump includes standard flanges for inlet and outlet connections, and the outlet supports both vertical and horizontal alignment.
The pump features a patented oil housing design that reduces oil temperature and extends oil service life. A sight glass allows for oil level monitoring, and a standard drain valve is included for applications requiring frequent oil changes. Mechanical improvements have increased component durability, extending operating time. Low power consumption and energy-efficient motors contribute to low total operating costs compared to conventional rotary vane pumps.
TRIVAC L is available in pumping speed classes ranging from 5.8 to 92/110 m³/h (50/60 Hz). Variants are available for all motor options across different regions worldwide. Customized designs and specifications are available for models with special requirements regarding motors, oils, or systems.
An accessories range allows the pump to be adapted to the requirements of different applications.
