Dart Controls' EZ VFD is a family of variable frequency drives for conveyor applications ranging from ¼ to 2 hp. Designed for ease of installation, the drives require no parameter configuration, making them plug-and-play for most applications. Trimpots are included for fine-tuning.

Dual voltage input (115/230V AC, single phase, 50/60 Hz) and 230V AC 3-phase, 0 to 60 Hz output supports a wide range of applications and installations. A 0 to 5V DC follower speed adjustment enables precise speed control. Built-in safety features include overload protection for current and temperature, anti-coast deceleration, and motor braking.

Four models are available in open chassis or NEMA 4X enclosures. NEMA 4X models operate from 14° to 95°F (-10° to 35°C); chassis models operate from 14° to 113°F (-10° to 45°C).

Standard control inputs include speed adjustment, forward/reverse, and run/stop. In addition to conveyors, the drives are suited for fans and blowers, pumps and compressors, food processing and packaging, HVAC and airflow management, manufacturing and automation, agriculture and irrigation, water and wastewater treatment, and material handling and warehousing.
